A few users have asked me about how to interpret the EOD and Intra columns on the ETF Trading Bandit summary screen, this post will answer that question.
The EOD column will always contain the latest end-of-day date which will always be yesterday unless you happen to update after 7pm PST in which case it should be today’s date. That’s where the intraday update will help – it applies 15 min delayed data on top of the latest EOD data. The column itself only displays the time of that intraday update but if you hover your mouse over the cells in the column you will see the actual date and time of that intraday update…
Today is the 7th of June, you see in the above screenshot that the EOD date is the 6th of June which is correct because that’s the last end-of-day data that is available. I just hit the intraday update button and then the intra column times changed to 15 mins ago, and when I hover my mouse over any of those cells I see the actual date and time of that intraday update which is June 7th at 2:50PM (Market time).
