Sometimes you spot a price pattern on a chart and would like to find stocks that have a similar pattern. Traditionally this means writing some script to try to define the pattern and then running that script over your universe of stocks.

This template allows you to enter a stock symbol, start and end date that defines the pattern that you are interested in. The template then runs over all stocks in your universe to locate stocks that have a high correlation to your pattern. Higher correlation numbers indicate closer resemblence to your chosen pattern. By sorting on correlation you can bring the stocks with similar patterns to the top of your list.
