Hi Chris

Is there anything similar to Excel's magnification slide bar for the templates and their results. For example being able to increase the font size 1 or 2 increments would be perfect.

Yes, press and hold the CTRL key on your keyboard and use your mouse (or equivalent) scroll wheel to zoom in and out of a template.
