Problem with symbol list updates

I’m having problems updating my symbol lists. When I go to update my lists, Edgerater quickly runs through my symbol files without pulling down any data from Yahoo. Prior snapshot data is gone. My symbol lists appeared to be fine and my internet is working well.

I became frustrated and decided to start from scratch. I uninstalled/deleted all Edgerater files including my own symbol lists. I then reinstalled Edgerater and tried to update the SampleData.txt file. It still didn't work.

What am I missing here? Where should I be looking for a fix? Could the problem be with my Excel?

BTW I am using Edgerater on a second computer with no problems.

Is there a way to "step" through the download process in order to pinpoint where the bug lies?

I believe your issue was related to the Yahoo server problem that existed in late December/early January. I updated EdgeRater so that it pulls the Yahoo data from a different server. Please let me know if you are still experiencing issues.
