I am an EdgeClub neophyte. Kicking tires. Around 2:05 in the introductory video it says, "You can create and build your own Symbol List." I can only guess this means typing them one at a time or importing from a partnering software. I had a watch list already built inside Excel and did not want to retype it. I got it into EC (without seeing instructions on importing symbols into a list) by saving the Excel data as CSV then renaming the extension to TXT. I placed it inside the Symbol List directory on my computer. If there is a better way to accomplish an import, please advise.
Then I populated prices from Yahoo, and ran the Alpha21 template against the list. It was fast and the output looks to be useful, but the resulting ranking table dates are in reverse order from various video training. My result was oldest date next to symbol. How can I rearrange the output so that the table reads newest to oldest (have newest date as the first subsequent column next to the symbol)?

Hi NextBest,
Your method of getting a symbol list into the EdgeClub from Excel works perfectly well. In fact it is the quickest way of getting a large number of symbols into a list in one go. I did make a video entitled "Using Symbol Lists with ConnorsRSI Leveraged ETF Trading strategies" and the information in there on creating symbol lists will help also:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... k2STEedwa2
There's also the section in the documentation on symbol lists that shows another way:
http://www.edgerater.com/docs/index.htm ... llists.htm
The Alpha21 template shows a chart in the first worksheet tab and the rank number and close price in subsequent tabs. This template is organized like a regular stock chart with the latest date on the RHS.
You might have seen a video showing the 'Entries and Exits' tab used to highlight ranking, and that does show the latest dates on the LHS.
Chris.
