Trading Bandit "List has no data" error on intraday update.

Hi all,

I have an number of lists (16 to be exact). One of them is a list of 400 S&P midcap companies, which I have attached. I update all the lists each night or morning with the EOD update with no problem.

When I try to get intraday data for this particular list it very frequently fails, even though it has EOD data on there. I've attached the file with the list in it. I occasionally get this error on other lists but it seems to happen on this list almost every time.

I also have the S&P 500 in a list and it handles intraday updates ok.

I don't know if there is a more recent version of the program, I have had it since March of 2011.

I Just loaded the list into the EdgeClub software and performed an EOD update. It looks like a few of the symbols are no longer valid as they have EOD dates that are older than the last trading day. I've highlighted those symbols here.

Try removing these from your list and try the intraday update again during the next trading day.

Also, there are other symbols that are no longer valid. Some of these had no data which is why they didn't appear in the list above.

Thank you, that could be it. I got that list from Wikipedia, it was out of date. I got the official list from S&P, hopefully that will clear it up.

Indeed Chris... I have the same problem. Using the recent Schwab ETF list I sent you, I am unable to get intraday calculations. EOD works fine.

Please look into this.

Hi Drew,

The Schwab OneSource ETF list had lowercase symbols and there is a bug in the program right now where the intraday update will not work if the symbols are lowercase.

I've modified your list to make the symbols uppercase and posted that list to the Symbol Lists topic in this forum.
