Change EdgeRater to download TOS indices like $ADAD
Hi Chris, Since EdgeRater is now intercepting Yahoo data requests and sending them to Thinkorswim (TOS), I would like to get access to TOS indices such as the NYSE advance decline difference $ADAD and others. Since TOS provides these symbols for charting purposes it should be possible to download th...

Re: Popout spreadsheet not editable
I created a jing video as you earlier suggested. The last event in the video is right clicking on an empty box which is when the error pops up.

I expected to see the video run on screencast but it didn't. You can select details and download it.

Joel

New feature request. Rank selector to skip weak securites.
Hi Chris, I would like to request a new feature. I would like a new rank selector(s) that can look back at the previous run and exclude any series that had a profit factor less than 2.0 (or any) number. It could be some other factor like raw profit. Being able to select any factor would be good. I c...

Re: Popout spreadsheet not editable
Hi Chris, I take that back. After entering a formula, I want to copy the formula to every cell in the same column. If I hit ^c and then use shift-PGDN or shift-DownArrow then ^v, that works. But if I try to copy by using right mouse key, then a crash occurs at that point. I am able to do what I want...

Re: Popout spreadsheet not editable
Hi Chris,
Does EdgeRater require Excel to be installed to work correctly ? I haven't installed it yet. New Computer. What is the most compatible version of Excel for running a saved EdgeRater report ?
Best Regards,
Joel K.

Popout spreadsheet not editable
After using Trade simulation on the tps system I popped out the trade results spreadsheet. Looking at the trade list I sorted by symbol to see which ETFs were generally winners and which were losers by looking at the P/L column. I wanted to add another column to the spreadsheet to have a running tot...

TPSLONG(Long1,Long2,Long3,Long4,LongExit) ignores inputs.
Hi Chris, I have been trying to use the function TPSLONG(Long1,Long2,Long3,Long4,LongExit). When testing the code below it seems that my modifications to the RSI2 limit value and also the exit logic limt value are simply ignored. I thought this function would allow me to make my own versions of TPS....

Hindenburg Omen divide by zero error.
Hi Chris, A Hindenburg Omen divide by zero error is caused by the fact that the New York markets were closed on Oct 29 and 30 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy. The advance decline difference is zero for Oct30. The error propagates all the way to the end of the spread sheet. I used SP1500.txt security lis...
