templates malfunction

I had a hard drive failure on my laptop due to some bad sectors. The repair shop was able to recover all of my data. Now when I run an Edgerater template I either gets partial results or no output (worksheet with no data); for instance, when I run VPA signals on the DJI 30 I only get output for one stock. This only occurs on Edgerater templates. I have some templates that I customized (from original Edgerater templates) and they all run properly.
I have ER running on another PC. I copied the ER templates and the symbol lists from the PC onto the laptop. Same problem occurs.
Should I reinstall ER? If so, do I have to uninstall it first? Any other solutions?
